New Years/ Christmas gift to myself. They were like $20 on Ebay (I love that site).
They're actually blue glitter... not purple. I just liked this pic...purple.
And yes...they hurt. But it could be worse. I'm just trying to learn to walk in heels the diameter of a pencil.
<edit> So despite how awesome these shoes look, they're evil. I wiped out in them (IE fell on my rear) about a week and a half ago and my ankle is still sore.
I have some that are black with 4 or 5 inch heels that I think are a smidge thicker and I can't even walk a straight line in them. I just trip.
Teach me your ways oh walking in tall shoes master.
I should show you pics of my new black ones I got... I wore them to work one day.
These heels are like 6 inches... but I honestly though I'd seem higher up. I'm finding walking in high heels isn't so bad as long as the heel is thick enough for stability. Those in the pic, are NOT.
My main problem with heels is that you can't take big steps cuz you can't go "Heel -toe heel - toe" You have to extend your toe and walk "flat footed" and take tiny steps. It makes me feel like a Barbie.
BTW those silicone gel footpads are a MUST, I bought some and they make my heels so much more comfy.

Thanks
I really was surprised how much I liked the pic, the only thing I'd change is the books in the BG.
I can't wait to wear the shoes on an outing in public. Currently I've just been wearing them around the house and my stamina is very low. After about 15 minutes my feet start yelling "Sit down! Sit DOWN!"
And I learned very quickly they have no side stability...IE do not lean sideways or walk sideways...you will fall over.

Hadn't even noticed them there, shouldn't be to hard to edit those out in black though.
Have never had a problem wearing heels (with the exception of outragiously 6", then need those gel inserts a god send!) Guess balance is the key, and put your weight more on the front of your feet, will lessen the need to balance.
It's all fun anyway, and even if they do hurt, everyone looks amazing in a good set of heels, you have to admit that

With you 100% about shooting with the lilac tone, makes the glitter shimmer come though much more effectivly (certainly in full view)
Good luck with the walking in them, it's easy, just takes practace.
