This is a new character I came up with last year, from a sketch. Haven't decided on a name yet.
I decided to do a more detailed line art. Something with a background as well as the figure. It turned out well so I decided to color it with my Prismas and burnish it. So this is in effect my first burnished drawing. It adds a smoother look, you can see it especially well on the stone wall. Unfortunatly it doesn't show up as well on the sky as I was hoping.
I know some proportions may be off, but oh well. I really like her dress though.
*finished work*
Done in Prisma color pencils, and a micron pen.

Thanks. I went for something diffrent with the pose. And it turned out pretty cool.

Beautiful colors in this: I like the dress too: it's unconventional design yet pretty all the same. I especially like how you did the colors on it. The wall is GREAT! It's a good solid design. And the sky is very soft and pretty: nice mix of colors in there. I like the pose as well: she looks very contemplative.
Thank you
Yeah I choose something completely diffrent for the dress. And as annoyingly boring as wall was to draw, now that it's colored it looks really nice. I like the pose too, maybe she's thinking about what I'll name her lol.

lol...hey maybe!! Have you decided on a name yet? She looks like someone that would have a really delicate name I think...like Alexis or something like that (not sure where that came from!!). Just an overall nice composition and desing.
I haven't decided on a name. I was thinking something slightly akward, not something you'd expect, something pretty exotic, but Alexis is also pretty. I'm really gonna have to think about this... hm.
